OUR MISSION

Street Slamin Dance Centre’s mission is to instill a great love of dance, while inspiring self-confidence, discipline and respect of the performing arts. We provide a solid technical foundation for the developing dancer. Our goal is to give each individual dancer the tools they need to take dance as far as they dream to take it. We believe if you can dream it you can achieve it! Our teachers are skilled at identifying the specific needs of each student. We believe in an enriching education and we recognize that every student has something to offer the arts and the arts has something to every student.

We appreciate that the heart of a dancer is born into many different bodies and the love of dance can take on many different styles. We will develop well-prepared dancers, should they so choose to pursue the arts professionally or dance as a hobbie. Once a dancer always a dancer, dance is something students can come back to during all stages of their life.

We will urge each student to strive daily for their personal best, as well as to support one another in fostering a sense of teamwork and fun in the studio.

Street Slamin Dance Centre is committed to encouraging all dancers to strive for excellence and enjoy the journey along the way. We believe each dancer has the ability to increase her/his physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through our dance programs. Our goal is to provide quality dance instruction through caring, professional teachers in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Street Slamin Dance Centre promotes strong self-confidence, self-respect, discipline, and appreciation through the fine arts of dance. 

When you give your child dance, you are giving them so many wonderful things! You are giving them the chance to learn art! You are giving them a chance to increase their self confidence through performance. Children get physical exercise while learning to express their emotions in a healthy and positive way!

Beautiful costumes and a quality elaborate concert creates memories of a lifetime! Your child will have so much fun while increasing memorization and teamwork skills! Dance is exercise for the “brain” as well as for the body!

In some dance schools, only the top students receive such dedicated instruction but at SSDC, we show each and every student that they are extremely important to us. We love our students and want them to keep coming back year after year.

If they don’t become dancers, they will become the dance audiences of the future! They will also learn to express themselves in a healthy, positive way, through the beauty of dance and music.

Street Slamin Dance Centre values our local community and we support many fundraising efforts sponsored throughout our own locality & the wider Australian community. It is through community service that we can teach and learn the value of human kindness. We believe that this is the generation of dancers that can step up and make a change in human kindness and create positive attitudes for our future. These are the values SSDC strives to promote with each of our dancers.
